My son and I started Seraph Industries in 2004 with our first unit, we had a vision that our stove had to burn just about any type of grain or pelleted fuel, after the first year we redesigned our controller with the idea that BIO fuels is not a myth and that there will be many different fuels available on the market and we wanted our customers to have the ability to burn those fuels and have the information they needed to burn them efficiently.
With the Seraph Multi-Controller we have the ability to make those adjustments, along with the constant monitoring of the heat output. The multi-controller displays your heat output along with the exhaust temperature.
In July of 2006 we were ready for the safety and EPA testing.
Safety testing went well, we were well under any requirements, our clearance's are 2" on the sides and 2" on the back . The sides, top and back of the units are cool to the touch..
EPA testing is not required for pellet stoves, and we could go exempt and bypass the EPA test, but we wanted our units to be tested, good or bad we wanted to know were we stand and what we needed to do to improve. EPA requires pellet stoves to have a maximum of 7.5 grams in the exhaust to pass, we tested out at 2.1 we are at the top of the list. Our efficiency rating is 83.2% we are at the top of the list here also.
Our heat output we believe is the best on the market along with our ability to adjust to the many types fuel, the Genesis 106 and 108 are at the top.
Our units are not the cheapest and we never will be, but you will get more heat for your money and we built our units to last, also all products are 100% powder coated.
All our products are built right in in America.
Our company name Seraph means "to burn or burning one" .
