MAINTENANCE TIPS

tips to keep your stove burning at maximum efficiency

#1. exhaust path must be kept clean for proper combustion

#2. Fire pot should be maintained as needed

#3. Always clean ash and fuel out fire pot 100% before removing rotator to prevent ash or pellets from falling in the stir motor area.

#4. When burning corn, clean out the hopper once a month to keep the fuel flowing properly.  Fines will slow down the feed rate of the fuel, less fuel less heat.

#5. Check door gaskets at the beginning of each season, air leaks will take from the combustion air and cause smoke.

#6. When the heating season is over, clean as required in the manual and unplug the unit until needed.
